A warranty service can only be provided if there are no reasons for exclusion such as damage due to incorrect manipulation or mechanical damage. This includes, for example, damage caused by the elements, moisture damage, drop and impact damage, excessive wear and tear and defects resulting from tampering or modifications. Wearing parts, batteries, rechargeable batteries, lamps, etc. are excluded from the warranty or have a reduced warranty period.

Products labelled as "demo model" in the shop are demonstration devices, i.e. items with slight visual defects or refurbished products that are sold at a reduced price. These visual defects are excluded from the warranty. The normal warranty provisions apply with regard to functionality and usability.

If the manufacturer or service partner charges costs in the event of an out-of-warranty repair, these shall be borne by the customer. In the case of devices that have no detectable defects or the defect is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty, YOULAP or the manufacturer may pass on the costs of testing and shipping to the customer. YOULAP may grant the customer a pre-warranty replacement of the product. This pre-exchange, which is at the sole discretion of YOULAP, is subject to the (suspensive) condition that the manufacturer actually accepts the warranty for the returned product and that there is no reason for exclusion. The customer therefore only acquires ownership of the pre-exchanged product at this moment. The warranty exchange or warranty repair does not lead to an extension of the original warranty period.
